Balance in Work and Family Life

At TSYS, team members are encouraged to find a good balance in their work and family lives. We believe that a well-balanced team member has a better quality of life and can provide better quality work. It is our hope that team members will find balance at work, at home and in their communities.

Vacation
We all need time off from work for rest and relaxation and to enjoy our families and personal lives. For this purpose, we provide full- and part-time, eligible team members time off with pay for vacation. Vacations are a refreshing change and will aid your productivity once you return. It is also one of the ways we show our appreciation to you for your length of service and good work.

Paid Days Off (PDO)
A short-term absence of up to two weeks of regularly scheduled work hours is allowed for personal or family needs such as medical appointments, care of family members, family bereavement, and religious holidays not included in the regular holiday calendar.

Family Education Time
This reflects our company's belief in the value of our families and the importance of a parent or guardian's role in the education of children. Time is given for participation in school/educational activities as they relate to a team member's child/children, grandchildren or others for whom the team member has parental responsibility.

Military Leave Policy
If you require time off from work to fulfill military duties, you may be eligible for your regular pay and benefits for up to two weeks each calendar year. TSYS also pays team members who are called to duty during wartime or national crisis the difference between his or her regular base pay and his or her military compensation for up to a total of 24 months.

Adoption Assistance Plan
This plan is a vital way of supporting children in need of families and families who wish to have children. Because the adoption process can be demanding, stressful, and expensive, the plan is designed to ease these burdens and provide equity for all team members who are creating families whether through birth or adoption. We are committed to supporting each team member's work/life issues, and we recognize the importance of providing opportunities to give every child a home and a family.

The REACH Program
REACH stands for Recognizing and Encouraging an Atmosphere of Community and Hope. Through this program, team members are encouraged to reach out to their communities to encourage and support others, creating an atmosphere of unity by bringing people together to serve others.
