In 2011, we celebrate our 10-year anniversary of processing payments in Europe, marking the end of one stage of our evolution and the beginning of the next stage of growth.

TSYS^® established a European presence in 1999, opening our first office in London, UK and has since devoted significant attention to the European market.

The initial European base has provided TSYS with convenient access to major card markets throughout Europe and positioned TSYS to provide excellent customer service, leading-edge technology and support.

In 2001, TSYS successfully converted millions of accounts for one of Europe's largest financial institutions, The Royal Bank of Scotland Group, and TSYS' European client base has continued to grow across continental Europe.

Today, we are a leading competitor in the European payment processing business, providing support across the European region with our compelling processing and licensing alternatives.

Our state-of-the-art European data centre, purpose built in 2004, houses the most advanced technology environment that provides levels of resilience and redundancy unmatched by our competitors. Today, we have offices and facilities in ten European locations.

In 2006, TSYS acquired Card Tech Limited (CTL), a global provider of licensed PRIME card management software and gained a company with a European track record dating back to the early 1990s, working with leading multi-national banks.

Our payment solutions are customised to meet the unique needs of the European industry. Specific to EU needs, TSYS provide EMV-compliant support for multiple countries, multiple languages and multiple currencies.
