The market has experienced significant consolidation during recent years, with a few major banking groups acquiring domestic players and expanding their operations internationally across Europe. But, there still remains a high number of smaller retail banks who remain active within Italy.

TSYS SERVES ITALY: TSYS is fully committed to growing its presence in Italy, a commitment further demonstrated by the announcement in 2007 that it had appointed a Business Development Director for Italy and had opened an office in Milan. TSYS signed its first Italian client, C-Card, in 2010 and commenced processing in 2011.

Our Story

In 2007, TSYS appointed a Business Development Director for Italy and opened an office in Milan.

In 2010, TSYS announced that it had been chosen by Cedacri, Italy's leading provider of outsourcing services the banking industry, to provide card and payment services to Cedacri's clients.

In 2011, TSYS celebrated 10 Years of European Processing and began processing in Italy and Switzerland.
