TSYS Adds Two to Senior Management

To Lead Training and Documentation and Business Development

Columbus, Ga., June 27, 2002 - TSYS® has added two team members to its senior management team, promoting Betty S. Waldrep to group executive of Client Training and Documentation and hiring Christopher Runci as senior vice president of business development at TSYS Debt Management (TDM), the wholly owned collections and bankruptcy subsidiary of TSYS.

Waldrep - TSYS Client Training and Documentation
waldrep_bettyEffective July 1, Waldrep, formerly a division director, will replace Suzanne Saunders, who will retire after 19 years with the company. Waldrep will report to William A. Pruett, TSYS executive vice president. As group executive, she will direct the training and education initiatives for all TSYS domestic and international platforms. Prior to joining the company, Waldrep, an eight-year TSYS veteran, worked in education as the director of Educational Computing for a prestigious private, educational institution in Columbus.

Waldrep has a Mathematics degree from the University of Alabama, a Master's degree in Education from Auburn University and a Master's degree in Communications, Computing and Technology from Columbia University. In addition, she is a recipient of a Woodrow Wilson Fellowship from Princeton University and is a graduate of the American Bankers' Association School of Bankcard Management.

Runci - TSYS Debt Management
runci_chrisAs senior vice president of TDM Business Development, Runci is responsible for helping to increase the company's extensive client base and continuing TDM's commitment to providing the most sophisticated collections and bankruptcy services in the industry. He will report to Charles F. Kinney, president of TDM.

With more than eight years of financial industry experience, Runci served as executive vice president of business development at eDebt/CollectionsX, an electronic receivables company, where he focused on the building, promotion and sales of the company's business-to-business, e-commerce products and services to collections and credit industry professionals. He also served as director of portfolio acquisitions at Atlanta-based Outsourcing Solutions Inc. and as vice president of mergers and acquisitions at Cohane Rafferty Securities in White Plains, NY. Runci has a degree in Economics from Brown University.
