Prominent Executive in Transaction Processing Industry Joins Vital
Tempe, Ariz., July 09, 2002, - Vital Processing Services® (Vital®), a recognized leader in technology-based commerce enabling services, recently announced the addition of industry veteran John Marshall to its executive leadership team. Marshall joined Vital as executive vice president, with responsibility for Sales and Client Relations and for leadership of Vital's affiliates, Vital Merchant Services and Golden Retriever Systems (GRS).
With more than 25 years in the transaction processing and merchant acquiring industry, Marshall brings deep experience, knowledge and capability to Vital. More recently, Marshall spent 15 years successfully leading Hypercom's operations in the United States.
Marshall is a native Canadian who has built a distinguished career in technology-related and transaction-intensive businesses in Canada, New Zealand, Australia and the United States. In New Zealand, he served as a senior level sales executive for Eagle Technologies as well as Computer Resources. Subsequently, Marshall held a senior leadership role at Austnet, the first independent ATM-driving company in Australia. Later, he moved to United States where most of his work was with Hypercom prior to joining Vital.
