Prepaid Card Expo to Feature Four TSYS Prepaid Executives
New York, NY, February 9, 2006 - TSYS Prepaid, a leading provider of prepaid card solutions that utilize the Visa, MasterCard, EFT and ATM networks, will have four speakers at the 2006 Prepaid Card Expo. The Expo is carefully targeted to spotlight branded Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express and EFT-network cards. It is the first dedicated, industry-wide event that combines education, buying and selling opportunities, and organized networking.
Anil D. Aggarwal, chief strategy officer of TSYS Prepaid and founder and chairman of the Network Branded Prepaid Card Association, will deliver the closing keynote address to discuss the benefits of an independent trade association dedicated to the advancement of the network branded prepaid industry.
Robert K. Borneman, vice president of healthcare product development for TSYS Prepaid, will join a panel to discuss "The Consumer and Healthcare Provider Experience". Mr. Borneman will address the many advantages that prepaid healthcare cards offer consumers and healthcare providers, the consumer experience with healthcare payments, and adoption expectations of prepaid debit cards in healthcare.
Barry J. Kessler, vice president of business development for TSYS Prepaid, will join a workshop focused on "Prepaid Card Processing Technology". Discussing the perspectives of "unbanked" consumers, Mr. Kessler will present a range of issues relating to prepaid card- processing technology, relevant considerations in selecting a processor, and factors in allocating roles and responsibilities among processors and others in the payments chain.
C. Britten Weber will co-present a case study on "DeWALT Rebate Cards". DeWALT has employed prepaid cards in many of their consumer rebate promotions. The discussion will include the benefits of prepaid cards versus paper checks, and card recipients' reported experiences with the rebate card.
The First Prepaid Card Expo will be hosted by Prepaid Media at Orlando's Buena Vista Palace Resort on Feb. 15-17.
