TSYS Prepaid Executive to Discuss Reloadable Prepaid Products
Alpharetta, Ga., September 13, 2007 — Duane O. Jacobsen, vice president of product development and management for TSYS Prepaid, will discuss the importance of reload networks and their role in the underserved and reloadable distribution channels. His session will focus on the differences between branded and private reload networks, as well as the impact branded networks will have on the established private networks.
“Reload networks are real businesses. Predicted explosive growth of branded prepaid card programs among the unbanked, over the next three years, hinges heavily on the continued success of reload networks,” says Mr. Jacobsen. “Integrating your card program into this funding channel is timely and not all that difficult.”
Mr. Jacobsen is an industry veteran with more than 20 years of experience in global product management and interactive technology development. Prior to his current role at TSYS Prepaid, Mr. Jacobsen was the director of global distribution implementations for American Express Global Travelers Cheque and Prepaid Services. There he served as champion of the prepaid card distribution channels and helped launch the prepaid travel card. He also served in several other senior management positions at American Express during his 10–year tenure, delivering successful innovation to travel and commercial card verticals. Mr. Jacobsen received his bachelor’s degree in finance and accounting from Rutgers University.
