TSYS to Open New Financial Services Support Center in Canada
New Center to Employ as Many as 450 People in Sudbury
COLUMBUS, Ga., May 4, 2011 — TSYS (NYSE: TSS) today announced it will open a new Canadian financial services support center in Sudbury, Ontario. The new center will eventually employ as many as 450 people, and is scheduled to open for operation in July of this year.
TSYS is opening the center to provide bi-lingual (French and English) customer care servicing, in addition to risk and fraud support, dispute and chargeback servicing, collections, back-office work and a variety of other managed services for its Canadian client base. A managing director has already been hired for the center, with general recruiting, hiring and training to begin immediately.
