Do I need credit card processing software or terminals?

How do I know the payment processing is secure?

TSYS is committed to keeping you and your customers safe from the very real threats of credit card fraud and identity theft. We stay current and compliant with all payment card industry (PCI) regulations with PCI compliant hardware and software. We also work with you to help you achieve and maintain PCI compliance.

Can I do recurring billing?

Definitely! TSYS can help you with recurring billing. If you would like to charge the same amount to the same payment card on a regular basis we can help you facilitate that with automated recurring billing.

When and how do the batches get settled?

TSYS offers clients an auto-batch close service that automatically settles transactions at the same time every day. If there are no transactions pending in the batch, it is not closed and no batch fee is charged.

When is money deposited into my account?

When it’s time to settle (or close) the batch, you transmit your authorization codes to TSYS, which sorts and forwards them to the appropriate issuing banks. The banks release the funds to us, and we deposit them into your bank account. This step is typically completed within 48 hours of the transaction.
